Welcome to the journal of a teeange insomniac better known to the world as Marissa Bailey; fifteen year old body, a more mature mind, and a more immature mouth.

history.
Born to Ian and Lydia Bailey on August 3rd, 1991, I was the first of the three Bailey children. We move around a lot and have lived in Illinois, West Virginia, Massachusetts, Maryland, and now New York. My father grew up in the Philippines and moved here after being adopted by the Bailey family and took on their last name while my mother came here for nursing. Before moving to New York, almost every school I ended up at was 99%, um, not Asian, so I have an American accent and only speak English.

personality.
I'm quite the contradictory teenager. I'm sure that half the time what I say doesn't make sense, but sometimes it does... I think. Well, anyway, I try to be straight forward [sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't], and try to be sarcastic and humorous, but you can be the judge of that. I'm stubborn and once I'm driven, there's no stopping me. I tend to be impuslive and moody and my tragic flaw is that my curiosity always gets the best of me. A lot of people told me that I act well above my age, but that's what happens when I write. When I speak, I sound younger, and my physical appearance matches that, so one of my pet peeves is being underestimated. But, aside from all that, I'm just your normal teenage girl.
